She warned that peace for the world would come only through conversion of heart. Six months later, on October 13, tens of thousands witnessed the sun spin and fall toward the earth — the sign she had promised. Her feast is kept on May 13. This icon was featured by the National Catholic Register for its centennial telling of the Fatima story, and now hangs on permanent display at the National Blue Army Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima.
