Iconographer Vivian Imbruglia's icon commemorating the 100th anniversary of the Fatima apparitions was featured by the National Catholic Register, one of the largest and longest-running Catholic news outlets in the United States, in a piece titled "How an Iconographer Is Honoring Fatima."

Imbruglia, the artist behind Sacred Image Icons, wrote the icon to mark the centennial of the 1917 apparitions, in which Our Lady appeared six times to three shepherd children near Fátima, Portugal, beginning May 13th and culminating in the Miracle of the Sun on October 13th. Completed after months of research with Deacon Bob Ellis of the World Apostolate of Fatima and Franciscan Father Andrew Apostoli, author of Fatima for Today, the icon was Imbruglia's 100th written work.

The piece is structured around six vignettes, three framing each side of the central image, depicting the Angel of Fatima and his banner of Prayer, Reparation, and Sacrifice; the Miracle of the Sun; the First Saturday devotion; the Third Secret; the vision later granted to Servant of God Lucia dos Santos; and the consecration of the world to the Immaculate Heart of Mary. Below, the three shepherd children — Lucia, Francisco, and Jacinta — appear beneath a banner bearing Our Lady's words, "My Immaculate Heart Will Triumph!"

The original icon was donated to the National Blue Army Shrine of Our Lady of Fatima in Asbury, New Jersey, where it remains on permanent display.
