This one of the rare icons painted by Vivian which does not represent a Catholic Saint.

Charlie Kirk is depicted here, with intentional elements meant to direct the viewer toward God—as expressed in the inscription “Ad Deum” - “To God.” He is shown in a calm, frontal pose, holding the Holy Bible open to Christ’s words: “Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free” (John 8:32). A palm branch signifies faithfulness and victory; the red ribbon entwined around it recalls martyrdom, a death for his beliefs, and sacrifice. His wedding band points to his vocation as husband and father, while St. Michael the Archangel stands behind him as defender of truth. The gold field places the image in the eternal light of God’s presence — every element directing the viewer toward the same end: Ad Deum.

Painted on a birch panel symbolizing the True Cross, covered in linen recalling Christ’s burial shroud, and built up through layered marble gesso in the tradition of iconography, this piece is written, not merely painted. Signed AMDG — Ad Majorem Dei Gloriam.
